New Good World didn’t just appear—it’s the successor to a legacy. Founded in 2021, New Good World emerged from the creative DNA of Print Liberation, a studio formed back in 1998 that ran strong for over two decades. Print Liberation made its name with a bold aesthetic rooted in typographic traditions, turning simple phrases into cultural moments. Think of t-shirts emblazoned with lines like “Sorry I’m Late,” “Don’t Give Up,” and, after Obama’s 2008 election, the iconic “Under New Management.” The studio was pivotal in the campaign merchandise for Move On, distributing hundreds of thousands of shirts and bumper stickers that carried their signature type-focused style. Clients like Nike, Urban Outfitters, and It’s Nice That sought Print Liberation for its bold approach to typographical design.
Beyond its own creative output, Print Liberation excelled at forming strong partnerships with like-minded companies and brands. One of its most notable collaborations was with Ryonet, where the two joined forces to create DIY Print Shop™—a company dedicated to empowering creators by offering DIY screen-printing kits. These kits democratized the process, making it accessible for anyone to bring their designs to life from the comfort of their own homes.
When Print Liberation dissolved in 2021, New Good World was born, carrying forward this typographic legacy but expanding with a fresh vision. No longer confined to tees and streetwear, New Good World has become known in the spirits, wine, and food industries for building entire brand ecosystems. Now, with a specialty in creating brand identities that resonate deeply, New Good World crafts cohesive, authentic brand worlds for clients large and small. While its roots run deep in the Print Liberation aesthetic, New Good World represents a new chapter—one where bold design meets the ambition to shape brands from the ground up.
